Fabrication
Fabrication is a term used in the industrial industry that refers to the manipulation of raw materials, such as steel, in order to produce machines as well as other structures. During the fabrication process, steel and other metals are cut and shaped. Fabricating is a very “hands on” part of the manufacturing process.
A Working System
The typical types of fabricating projects include making the structural frames for buildings, heavy equipment and as well as many other items. Fabricating is vital during the initial stages of building a structure. This is crucial in order to build the different parts of the structure to create a working system.
Skill & Planning
When fabricating a working machine or the entire structure of a building from nothing but metal, a lot of skill and planning is involved. From proposing a plan to bidding and being awarded the project to the completion of it, there is a lot of work dedicated to the project. It is not enough that the level of skill required of our engineers is utilized, but the project must become a working part of the whole system in order for our fabricators to complete your project.
Materials
Our fabricators will involve the use of several different types of materials for your project. Some of the most common types of metals that may be used are:
- Plate Metal
- Formed Metal
- Expanded Metal
- Welding Wire
- Hardware
- Castings
- Fittings
